Another classy track by Jack Arel, and there will probably be a few. I love how this track just simmers away, and never really reaches a boil. Very nice electric piano and slide guitar work.

I'm beginning to become a big fan of the French side of library, but it's so hard to find obscure stuff to put up - especially since Kid Loco has released the 'French Funk Experience' which is filled with a fine selection of French Library music. Oh well, I'd better just keep on hunting.

It's difficult not to be in thrall with the KPM 1000 series. The same can be said for the Chappell DMM's.

Both labels have a very distinctive sound and equally distinctive artists - KPM had the mighty Keith Mansfield, Alan Hawkshaw, Alan Moorehouse, Brian Bennett, John Cameron & Alan Parker, the list of quality musicians is endless. Chappell boasted Jack Arel, Pierre Dutour, Jean Claude Petit, Paul Piot, Roger Roger & Rene Costy, and again, the quality shone through.

I've put four songs up here to compliment just how down and funky some of these tracks could be.
